WHAT IS THE AMBASSADOR PROGRAM?
We’re selecting outstanding rising juniors and seniors who exhibit cattle, lambs, goats, or hogs across our service area. Ambassadors lead at Show Team events, mentor younger exhibitors, and share educational content that helps the next generation grow in agriculture.
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
Current juniors or seniors in high school
Active exhibitors in cattle, lambs, goats, or hogs
Positive role models with strong communication skills
Willing to serve at events and create monthly educational content

WHAT AMBASSADORS DO
Mentor 4-H & FFA youth livestock exhibitors on their community
Model Leadership, Integrity and Good Sportsmanship
Take an active role with Show Team events throughout the year
Create and share educational content on social media to benefit youth exhibitors

Yes. We provide program onboarding and ongoing guidance for our Show Ambassadors. The first mandatory training is Saturday, February 14, 2026.

Leadership development, mentorship, networking opportunities, apparel/gear and public recognition.

Selected ambassadors are required to attend the mandatory onboarding training in Harrisonburg on Saturday, February 14, 2026 as well as Market Animal College on Saturday, April 25, 2026, and atleast one Show Team educational meeting in spring 2026 (dates TBD).
