Get a head start on spring at our Seed Starting Workshop at Rockingham Cooperative Ace Hardware - Troutville. This free, hands-on class is led by Cynthia Holt, our Garden Center Manager, who works with this stuff every day and knows what actually works in real home gardens.

You’ll learn how to successfully start seeds indoors so your plants are stronger, healthier, and ready to go once spring hits. We’ll walk through seed selection, containers, soil, lighting, and timing, plus common mistakes to avoid. This class is great for beginners and experienced gardeners who want better results this season.
