🦉 Wildlife Program with the Southwest Virginia Wildlife Center
Saturday, February 14 | 9:00 AM
FREE • Family-Friendly • Open to the Public
Join us for an engaging Wildlife Program featuring the Southwest Virginia Wildlife Center and some very special guests.
Wildlife Ambassadors will be on-site to help kids (and kids at heart) learn more about animals native to our area, including:
Captain Jack, an American Kestrel
Rio, an Eastern Box Turtle
Koda, a Big Brown Bat
Through live animal introductions and storytelling, families will learn what makes these species unique, why they matter to our local ecosystem, and how we can better coexist with wildlife in our own backyards.
What to know before you go:
Designed for families and children of all ages
Space is limited, seating is first come, first served
Arriving early is strongly encouraged
This program is FREE and open to the public
It’s a fun, educational way to spend a Saturday morning and a great chance for kids to see local wildlife up close while learning from real experts.
