Announcing Bailey Carpenter as Store Manager in Timberville
Rockingham Cooperative is excited to share that Bailey Carpenter has stepped into the role of Store Manager at our Timberville branch, effective November 6, 2025.
Bailey’s story with the cooperative goes back nearly a decade where he began as a warehouse worker in Elkton, then as an applicator and later moved into store management. His background isn’t just hands-on - he’s a Virginia Tech graduate with a degree in Agribusiness and a minor in Crop and Soil Sciences, giving him a strong foundation for both operational leadership and customer-facing support.
He’s now leading the Timberville branch with the same steady, grounded approach he’s shown in every role so far.
“Bailey brings a rare mix of practical field experience and true cooperative perspective. He’s managed teams, supported producers, and understands how every part of our business connects back to serving our member-owners. His prior cooperative experience gives him a deep understanding of retail, agronomy, and customer relationships, and that balance is exactly what the Timberville branch needs as we continue to grow. I’m confident Bailey’s leadership and his commitment to doing right by our customers make him the perfect fit for this role.”
Bailey is already settling into the Timberville branch and looks forward to meeting customers, supporting local producers, and continuing the cooperative’s mission to serve the Shenandoah Valley’s agricultural community.
Join us in welcoming Bailey as he steps into this new chapter with Rockingham Cooperative.
