Dairy Producer Meeting at Traditions Family Restaurant
Rockingham Cooperative invites you to join us for an informative Dairy Producer Meeting on Wednesday, June 5th from 11:30 am to 1 pm at Traditions Family Restaurant in Harrisonburg, VA. This event is designed for dairy producers looking to stay ahead with the latest insights and best practices in dairy farming.
Our meal and presentations are generously sponsored by Purina and Zoetis, with two expert speakers covering key topics for dairy producers:
- Dr. Rebecca Klopp from Purina will discuss “Investing in the Future of the Herd,” focusing on how a full potential feeding program can increase first lactation milk production.
- Sue Puffenbarger from Zoetis will present “Improving Calf Immunity,” sharing tools and strategies to reduce disease in young calves and fresh cows, enhancing their immunity.
Additionally, we’ll have an update on the current status of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) and what dairy producers should be aware of in the current climate.
