Pressure Canner Testing

Bring your pressure canner lids to test their gauge and seals by Monday, July 13th to one of three locations!
– Rocking R Ace Hardware in Harrisonburg
– Rockingham Cooperative in Timberville
– Rockingham Cooperative Ace Hardware in Bridgewater
Drop Off your canning lid at ANY of the above three locations by Monday, July 13th and return on Wednesday, July 15th to the same location to receive a full report on the safety of your canning gauge and seal!
NOTE: Testing will not occur on Monday, July 13th due to additional restrictions and safety precautions regarding COVID-19, but your canner/lid will be tested at a later time and be available for you to pick-up by Wednesday, July 15th WITH a written report on the status of your gauge/seal.
