Project 3 Partnership
Rockingham Cooperative
is pleased to partner with WHSV-TV's Project 3, which awarded $1000 to Lacey Spring Elementary School on Monday, March 8 for their community book drive called "Adopting Dewey." School librarian Carlene Lantz submitted the request and Rockingham Cooperative selected the winner.

Carlene Lantz said, "We're going to use the money to buy non-fiction books for the library. Non-fiction books deal with pure science like weather and animals, or applied science like technology, could do with civics and community events, also pets, history is involved in that, so, books that are at high interest for kids that they'll enjoy reading with good visuals."
